This graph represents a collection of BMI data from public schools in the South Central Kentucky area. Each dot is the BMI of a child, plotted against the age. The lines show the BMI percentiles. All the dots above the 95th percentile (top red line) represent children who are already obese and at high risk of severe health complications. Over the 85th percentile (third line down--purple) are at high risk of obesity.
