New Book Puts It All Together!
A new book by Dr Miriam Vos puts all the latest scientific knowledge about healthy foods into a practical kids' guide for living. The book is aimed at all healthy children to keep them at a healthy weight for life. Unfortunately, the publisher insisted on an eye-catching title, so try to disregard the title: "The  No-Diet Obesity Solution for Kids".     [more about the book....]

Fructose Industry on the Defensive!
The fructose industry, like its corporate parent the tobacco industry, is starting to sense that the truth is coming out about the dangers of eating fructose. Ads are appearing on TV touting the "safety" of fructose. These are reminiscent of ads in the 50's where fake doctors pretended to endorse cigarettes as a healthy product. Every so-called myth is an obvious attempt to obscure the truth.    [ see the list, and the truth about each so-called myth.... ]

Limit Setting Helps Parents Control their Children's Food Intake
A parent wants to be a friend to their child, yet giving in to his demands, and not setting limits, will make a child out of control. This applies to food intake, as well as all other aspects of that child's behavior and development.              [more...]
