Super-high sugar drinks (juices, non-diet sodas, sports drinks, and anything with sugar mixed in) 2. Super-high fat foods (chips and fries, chocolate, mayo and
butter, any greasy stuff) |
How can a kid keep doing exercise for a whole hour? Easy! Walking, skating, riding a bike, swimming, shooting baskets, and playing fun games like disc golf and tennis are all good exercise.

TV is OK for a while..... But too much TV watching makes you gain weight. Kids should watch TV (including video games) for less than 2 hours per day. Me and My Pedometer A pedometer is a small counting machine that clips on your belt. It counts all the steps you take during the day. Walking is great exercise, but you need over 10,000 steps every day! Your pedometer can keep track of your steps so you know how much farther you need to walk by the end of each day. It's really not very hard to get over 10,000 steps!
